What is New Hope for Kids?
New Hope for Kids provides specialized support to children and families grieving the loss of a loved one and grants wishes to children with life-challenging illnesses in Central Florida.
What are the Mascot Games?
The Mascot Games feature mascots from sports teams across the country competing in a variety of zany games. More than 18,000 fans enjoy thrilling and crazy competition, as mascots from MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, ECHL and NCAA battle through high-energy themed games, to see who are the true champions of the mascot world are!
At what age does a child need a ticket?
Any child that has reached his/her second birthday must have a ticket.
What time do the doors open?
The main doors will open one (1) hour prior to game time each day.
Friday, June 23rd doors will open at 11:30 am. Saturday, June 24th, doors will open at 1:00 pm.
What type of outside events will be taking place before the games?
Friday, June 23rd is the Community Festival. This year the community festival has moved inside to the concourse level. You must have a ticket to enter in the Amway Center Saturday, June 24th is the Magic 107.7 FAN FEST. Local vendors will have interactive activities and prizes. This event is free to the public and located on Church St. just in front of the Amway Center. Enjoy these events before going into the arena.
At what time will the outside event begin to take place?
Friday, June 23rd the Community Festival is from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. A ticket is needed to enter the building.
Saturday, June 24th , Magic 107.7 hosts a FAN FEST from noon – 2 pm on Church Street. This is a FREE event.
What parking is available?
The Amway Center is pleased to offer guests reserved/pre-paid parking in the GEICO Garage (400 West South St.) adjacent to the Amway Center. Reserved/pre-paid parking can be purchased through ticketmaster.com
FOR CAMPS: The buses will drop off students at the corner of Division and Church Street. The buses will then continue on to Camping World Stadium. The parking lots to stage the buses will be on South St before Rio Grande Ave (Lot 6 & 7). Each bus will be assigned a number to aid in the return and pick up that will place on Division and Church Streets after the closing of the community festival. Buses should be ready to return to Amway Center at 1:00 pm on Friday June 23rd. Refer to email and bus staging maps that were emailed directly to schools. How much is parking?
Parking in the GEICO Garage (400 West South Street) is $15. More parking is available in various surrounding lots. Other area locations may have lower rates.

Will there be a special drop off zone?
On Friday, June 23rd FOR CAMPS: Yes, There will be a drop off zone along Division between South Street and Central Avenue. It is important that you do not block the intersection when offloading children. Both streets will be closed off to vehicular traffic for safety reasons.
Will there be any security at the event?
Will there be posters or other items sold at the event for the campers to purchase?
We will have posters available at the Saturday June 24th Games. VIP Huddle ticket required for purchase of poster for autographs. Posters will be $2.00 each and located near the Silent Auction.
Will the mascots be available to sign autographs before the event?
Mascots are available to sign autographs at the VIP Mascot Huddle on Saturday, June 24th from 12:30 pm to 1:15 pm. This ticket costs $35 for pre-purchase and $40 the day of the event and includes admission to the Mascot Games. If purchased online additional fees may apply.
Can food or drink be brought into the arena from outside?
No. Food and drink can be purchased at the various concession stands or consumed prior to entry.
Are cameras or cellphones permitted to record or take stills of the games?
Yes. We would love for you to share them. Like us on Facebook/MascotGames, Instagram, and Twitter. No selfie sticks allowed.

Is the seating reserved?
On Friday June 23rd, camps have reserved seating within assigned specific color sections. Saturday June 24th has three tiers of seating/ General Admission ($12), Premium seats ($20) and VIP Mascot Huddle ($35). VIP Mascot Huddle tickets include a Meet + Greet with the Mascots at 12:30 p.m. and admission to the 2:00 p.m. Games.
Will there be attendants in the stands helping to keep watch over the campers?
The Amway Center Staff will provide ushers to facilitate crowd needs while in the stands, but we know everyone will be on their best behavior during the games.
Can we purchase more tickets the day of the event if we have more children than anticipated?
Yes, if purchasing for your CAMP, please go to the Amway Center Box Office. New Hope for Kids will have 5 designated windows in alphabetical order for camps on Friday and alphabetical order by last names on Saturday. Walk ups to the event may purchase at the Amway Center Box Office.
If we reserve more tickets than we need will we have to pay for the extra tickets?
This applies to CAMPS only – No. If you pre-pay for your tickets and need to refund, you must bring the remaining tickets to New Hope for Kids administrative office by July 5, 2017. Please go to the Box Office and speak with New Hope for Kids staff after 12:30 pm
What is your refund policy for pre-purchased tickets?
This applies to CAMPS only- If you have pre-paid for tickets and are in need of a refund, please fill out the necessary paperwork at the New Hope for Kids window at the Box Office. Refunds will be made in the same form of payment. Please allow two weeks to process
Where do we pick up our camp tickets?
Please go to the Amway Center Chase Box Office along Church Street where New Hope for Kids will have four (4) designated windows to disperse tickets.
